COVID-19 Rapid Testing

DUE TO NEW YORK STATE'S NEW TRAVEL ADVISORY, WAIT TIMES COULD BE ONE HOUR OR LONGER

TWO FARMINGDALE LOCATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM BOTH CONVENIENTLY LOCATED IN THE BI-COUNTY SHOPPING CENTER:

SITE A: AFC Urgent Care, 1037 Fulton Street, Farmingdale. This is a FULL SERVICE Urgent Care Center, including Covid-19 Rapid Testing.

Depending on insurance, there could be an additional cost of a Rapid test (not to exceed $75) and must be paid at time of visit. Rapid testing is also available for uninsured patients for an out of pocket cost of $200. Supplies are limited.

SITE B: AFC Urgent Care, 1021 Fulton Street, Farmingdale. This is a RAPID COVID-19 TEST SITE ONLY, with results in less than 15 minutes.

If you have insurance and would like to avoid an out of pocket cost, a Covid-19 test can be sent out to our lab. Processing times will vary.

 Understanding COVID-19 Test Results

• A negative test means the virus that causes COVID-19 was NOT found in your system.
• A positive test means the virus that causes COVID-19 WAS found in your system. 

• Stay home for at least 14 days.
• Keep isolated from other family members.
• Rest and monitor your health. Call 911 if you experience trouble breathing or have constant chest pain

• Wear a Mask.
  • Cover your nose and mouth. 
• Wash Your Hands. 
  • 20 seconds with soap and water. Or use a hand sanitizer that contains 60% alcohol. 
• Keep Your Distance. 
  • Keep two arm-lengths or 6 feet away from those who don’t live with you. Avoid crowds.
• Get a Flu Shot
• Get Tested.
• Get Vaccinated
